Freedom: Simon’s Town And The SA Navy Parade

When the South African Navy dress and entertain they do it in style and they deserve it all. Saturday morning Simon’s Town was packed with us and the navy took center stage. What a privilege to watch these proud men and women in action. Our own Admiral lead the way and his troops …sea(wo)men followed the leader. Good for you Sir! And thanks for sharing the Navy with us all.

We cannot wait for the next Simon’s Town Navy festival.

By the way: We did the Navy festival tour and enjoyed every moment. The highlight was going down the submarine. The navy staff was great, this is a gross understatement. The guided tour is not to be missed.

Simon’s Town Navy Dry Dock Concert

Hi These photos of the Navy Dry Dock Concert was taken with my mobile phone. The quality is not great but I am sure you get the idea. The dry dock concert was amazing and fun for the 3000 (?) people who attended. The Navy Band IS great and the dry dock is one of the best place to watch them in action. Thanks to the Navy…you are great.
