Who Is In The Cage: You Or The Baboon?

Some of us feel that we are in the cage and the baboons are watching us.
You are not allowed to feed the baboons, you are not allowed to touch the baboons, you are not allowed to shoot the baboons (they obviously don’t like being shot at)…not even with a catapult or paint gun , you are not allowed to point any laser or infra red beams at baboons.
You are not allowed to do any of these nasty things to the house invaders but the parks board is either not interested or capable in managing the baboons.
And that’s why you may feel caged-in and want to start a war. If we look at the resent past wars that were conducted on moral grounds………
Ok.
I know that baboons are not invading our moral or civil rights but ask this question to Simon’s Town residents who had their homes invaded by a troop of hungry baboons.
And yes!
We have taken their space that’s why, today, we have protected areas for the baboons. But today the baboons and the parks board make the rules. We may not trespass on their protected areas while the baboons can cause havoc in our homes.
This is reversed and mixed-up apartheid at its worst.
Let’s vote on a few proposed solutions. Ideas that were suggested to me.
