I need your advice. We are involved with a lovely Simon’s Town property development.

• There will be 23 share title owners in this new lifestyle development.
• A unit’s value will be between R1.2 and R2.5 million.
• These lovely lock-up-and-go units are close to the beach and the Simon’s Town village. Although they will have a unique Simon’s Town look they will be modern.

I got hold of this advertisement and hoped that you can help me find
local chief who wrote it:

Simon’s Town is looking for a qualified colour remover. In order to qualify you need to show previous successful attempts to remove one or more colours from the rainbow. Therefore you need a comprehensive portfolio showing the tools, and techniques you use.

Please note that we only require you to remove one colour from the rainbow. We will give you all the specs and if you fail you will not get paid. Not one cent. We require capable one-colour-rainbow-removers. Please don’t waste our time with false claims.

And if you are successful we will spend a million to promote your
business because there are many people, from small and big towns who also want to remove one or more colour from their rainbow.

P.S. Not so long ago our local village chiefs removed the benches from
Jubilee Square because a specific group of the universal rainbow was
sitting there…all day long. When the village chiefs did that the group moved across the street to the shops and the passage. I wonder if this job has anything to do with them trying to remove these vagrants?

Here are the steps (click on the images to enlarge them):

1) Join the Simon’s Town Room: http://friendfeed.com/rooms/simonstown The address above is where you’ll send your friends to also join the room. Click on the Join the room button.

2) If you have an account with Friendfeed Sign in with your email or nickname and password. If you are new then click on create an account. 3) If you are creating an account then enter your email address, your name and your nickname and your password. All your stories that you contribute to the room will be kept at http://friendfeed/yournickname and at the room. For example all my stories are at http://friendfeed.com/johanhorak because I chose my nickname as johanhorak. Keep your nickname and password where you can get it easily. When you are done click on Create My Account.   4) Go to your email inbox and find an email "FriendFeed email address verification" Read the email and click on the link to confirm your account. 5) Go back to your FriendFeed accont and click on https://friendfeed.com/account/ 6) Complete your feed preferences and ensure that you have set to receive a daily email of the room. See red arrow. 7) How do you read news and contribute news and issues. You have two options. The one is to read the news everyday if you go to the Simon’s Town Room http://friendfeed.com/rooms/simonstown I suggest you use a small computer application that you can use to read room stories and and contribute stories to the room and that will notify you as and when new news are posted in the Simon’s Town Room. This is called twhirl. All you need to do is to go to www.twhirl.org (see image above) and download the application. Click on this link and you’ll see the image of the twhirl website. See the red arrow. Go for it. Click on download. Wait it will download and start running.

9) As soon as the twhirl application has downloaded the application will launch automatically. As soon as it launches you’ll see the following screen.

10) See the next screen: Click on where it says Twitter (see the (1) red cirlce. A small screen will open where you will see a list of services offered. Click on Friendfeed.

11) Can you see on the screen above: "Enter your screen name…..?" This is where you enter your Friendfeed nickname (you can find it here https://friendfeed.com/account/ if you you did not record it). Now enter your nickname. For this example my nickname is username. Next to where you entered your nickname (username)  is a plus sign +. Have a look at the screen below and find the blue highlighted username (your nickname) . Go and click on the plus sign.

12) Have a look at the screen below. "Username" (your nickname) has now move to the white space. Now I want you to click on  your nickname (username).

13) See screen below: Now click on connect. This will always connect you. But as a once off you need to complete the following procedure.

14) See the screen below: When you clicked on connect, the fist time, you need to enter your remote key. Click on the bit saying, "get your remote key here. This will take you to a web page with your remote key. Now go to the web page…

15) See screen below: After you clicked on "get your remote key here you’ll get the following page. Copy your remote key. I have wiped my key

16) Now go back to your twirl application and paste the remote key. Then and click on login. See screen below. And you are ready to go for gold. Let’s

17) Your screen may look like this if you have not done any posts. Let’s see what we need to do next.

18) See the screen below: I want you to go and click on the #. When you click on the # it will give you an option to choose a room. Although you may only have one room now you may have more in the future.

19) When you have clicked on the # Select the simonstown room. You can go up and down with the toggle in the right of this bar if you have more than one room. For now you should have one room and it should default to simonstown.

20) See screen below. After you clicked the tick mark you can now go and read the room. Scroll up and down. If you wan to leave a comment click on the @ no comments yet and add yours. If you like what someone said then you can click on the little hart. If you want to read more click on the [>>>] and you’ll be taken to a web page.

21) Let’s say you have a story to share. Click on share …………

22) Now you can type your story in the share box. You can also add a link to a web site and when done click on the tick mark. Note: there’s also a place for you to upload a photo. 23) Now that you have shared a story you can go and see it in the room as well. But you never have to go back to the room. Just use this application to read new stuff and share new stuff. 24) Have a look on any of these screens. In the top right corner are three tools. Always use the - (minus) to reduce the twirl screen. When you have done that you’ll see the small twirl icon at the bottom right of you screen. And I mean bottom right. next to where you find the time on your screen. If the twhirl image is there double click to open it. 25) If you cannot find twhirl then go to start > all programs >> Look for twhirl. And you found it double click on it. 26) Every morning when you read your emails click on Twhirl. Open it up and say hello to your Simon’s Town friends. Read what they had to say and share some of your own news.
