Yes you are correct. RPPR.co.za doesn’t have the stats for all the properties sold in Simon’s Town because they depend on the Simon’s Town real estate agencies that subscribe to their services. When you are not quoting the total value sold and the other totals then I believe you can use the other figures to draw conclusions from their significant sample.

For example if you have a look at the average value of all the properties sold in Simon’s Town, or the length of time Simon’s Town properties takes to sell, or the average discount before a Simon’s Town property sell then you can use the figures.

But when the Echo tells you that so many million worth of properties sold by month then they are make a mistake. Because, as you have said, RPPR.co.za don’t include all the real estate agencies in Simon’s Town.
