Poll: How Do You Feel About The Penguin Bus Stop?

As you may know or not know; the bus stop painted with colourful penguins was painted white by a local resident. Never did I thought this issue will cause such a lot of controversy.

The question this poll will try and answer how people who read this blog feels about the penguin bus stop. Thanks for stopping by.

    We were unaware it was ONE individual who repainted the shelter white as we, and many we are sure, thought it was the City Council which did the dastardly act. The person involved should be made public and his/her name given to the police so that should a newly painted display be forthcoming and in turn once again be painted out he as a main suspect would face the arm of the law.
    We very much hope the shelter is once again re painted by the previous artists..Especially in time for the celebrations of the 2010 World Cup.

    Thanks for the comment. Janine at Boulders was very much involved with the painting of the bus stop. Getting school kids to paint it. But then one "important man" came in the night and painted it all white.

    The ST civic discuss this and did not want to get involve in the repainting of the bus stop.

    I will support any effort and I am sure Janine would do the same.

  • Thanks for sharing the link. This is the power of the internet. In the past these kind of stories would have died. But given the internet stories have a long tail and stories never die.
