A concerned and caring Simon’s Town resident send me these photos with his comments. As a real estate agent I deliberated if I should publish these concerns. And I had to ask the questions: How do I create goodwill while at the same time live with things I don’t like? Should I publish them and live with the consequences?
Friend, this is me. This blog is read by many in Simon’s Town and I will use it to further a cause. A cause that may help to keep Simon’s Town the place we want while I agree to and promote growth because it’s inevitable.
Now for the issues by a concerned Simon’s Town friend:

The three projects in ST. All are dangerous in some way.
Who is responsible?
No Warning! This is blatantly ignoring the Health & Safety Act. It is 25m from a Main Road pavement with NO SIGNAGE. The stone retaining wall is very dangerous as the winter rains approach! A team of workmen have been working below during the past two weeks with the Council’s knowledge.
Council’s cost must be escalating rapidly while no work is undertaken.
This Council project’s costs are escalating every 6 months. The whole of Seaforth Beach is going to………
