News: Commencement of Main Road Upgrading: Monday 31st March 2008

This is to notify you that the City of Cape Town has just confirmed that the Main Road upgrading is to commence on Monday 31st March 2008, after the peak morning traffic has subsided. Further to our previous correspondence, works were not able to commence on the 25th March 2008 as Westlake Avenue and Old Boyes Drive were not ready to receive traffic at the time. Note that Old Boyes Drive is currently open to traffic and Westlake Avenue will be made accessible on Monday 31st March, following the peak morning traffic.
