Simon’s Town Property Trends June 2007

Simon’s Town properties are preferred when it comes to False Bay.
For the last 16 months Simon’s Town attracted 36% of all the out-of-town property buyers with Fish Hoek second at 23% and Noord Hoek at 17%.

In the greater False Bay area most of the outside property buyers are from the UK (37%), followed by Gauteng (35%). In Simon’s Town however 43% are from Gauteng followed by the UK at 30%..

The time to sell a property in Simon’s Town is on average close to 4 months compared to only 71 days in the rest of False Bay.

The Simon’s Town properties sold, expressed in rands per square meter of floor space, is at R9400 per square meter and 3.5% lower than the previous month.
